Favourite 3D app?
Mine has to be Imagine. I loved Lightwave, but Imagine really clicked with me and was super powerful. Plus I had bought it, so the incentive to learn it was there over all the others

I ised to flirt with Imagine 4.0 once upon a time, but it was always too hard for me to understand its concept.
Was ver 4.0 its latest release?

Ha ha. I know what you mean. The manual was also rather difficult to understand. I used to go to a couple of user groups where we would help each other out. Collective learning helped us get over hurdles.

Hi folks,
New member of this forum.
My favourite 3D application on the Amiga is Lightwave 3D, however I first learned on Aladdin4D, and have much respect for it.
It's a little less intuitive, but is capable of some very nice images.
I bought the commercial packaged version from Nova Design just in the early 2000s just before they sold it to Discreet FX, who in turn sold it to AEON. I'm hoping AEON does finally release an updated (or at least bug-fix) version.

I agree. I have tried contacting them about their intentions, but got radio silence. I would love to see them open source it.
